Operations, you’ll be integral to keeping one of the leading zinc and lead smelting and refining complexes running smoothly. In this full-time position, you'll install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair essential instrumentation systems across multiple plants. Collaborate with a skilled maintenance team to enhance operational excellence and address daily challenges, all while enjoying the stunning outdoor workplace of British Columbia. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example in safety adherence
- Install and calibrate field instrumentation systems
- Troubleshoot control system issues
- Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance
- Collaborate with the maintenance team for optimal performance Requirements:
- Interprovincial Red Seal Certification as an Instrumentation Mechanic
- Industrial experience in smelters or process plants
- Familiarity with Modicon PLCs and Wonderware HMIs
- Bonus: Experience with Foxboro and ABB systems
