To support our continued growth, we are seeking a Commercial Account Manager to join our collaborative commercial lines team. This role supports an established commercial book of business with a focus on relationship-driven service, not high-volume transactions.

Manage and service a mixed portfolio of commercial accounts providing variety and opportunity to grow your skills and knowledge Support the full life cycle of the client from new business, endorsements and annual risk reviews to ensure accuracy and optimal insurance solutions Assist in re-marketing policies when necessary Serve as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers to facilitate smooth communication and issue resolution Respond quickly and professionally to inquiries from clients, carriers, and colleagues,
diligently following up on client accounts to resolve outstanding issues and activities Take new claim reports and submit them to insurance carriers promptly Identify and support current sales opportunities as appropriate (including commissions payable on new business) RIBO license preferred (or willingness to obtain if there is experience in other areas of commercial lines insurance) ~2-years or more of commercial insurance experience and/or underwriting ~ Strong understanding of small, medium and large commercial risks ~ Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple accounts independently ~ Familiarity with Owen Sound area and local businesses is an asset ~ Knowledge of PowerBroker and Applied Epic is an asset Supportive, family-style team culture in a newly renovated office including large independent offices with windows Commission on new commercial business only (no quotas) Employee perks include comprehensive benefits plan, pension plan with company matching program, paid time-off including paw-reavement leave and volunteer days Apply now to join a team that values commercial expertise, client relationships, and professional growth.
