The Systems Support

Administrator will be part of the Systems Support team. They act as an escalation point for the IT Support team which is also part of the Systems Support team supporting studios across North America. Escalation support for all incidents and requests using JIRA service desk Support of storage requests Administration of the OS images and Linux/Windows application packages.

Support of the Render farm (software)



Support and administration of enterprise storage platforms and file systems. Monitor system health, performance, and infrastructure alerts using monitoring tools such as Grafana and Nagios. Works independently and in teams on administrative and technical projects Collaborate with other technology teams on various projects and to support artists workflows and production requirements You will partake in an on-call rotation to provide support outside working hours. 3+ years in a level 1 IT position or similar role ~ OS (Redhat based, Windows and OSX) and application support and deployment ~ Basic scripting language (Powershell, Bash, Python) ~ Basic knowledge of Git/version control workflows. ~ Strong experience in a customer-facing role. ~ Configuration Management and Automation Windows Systems administration, patch management, and deployment Networking (Layer2, Layer3, including dynamic routing and VPN tunnels) Familiarity with render farm infrastructure and VFX production environments.
