Friday evenings from 6:00pm-8:30 pm at St. Brigid (Georgetown) & Guardian Angels (Milton)

Saturdays from 9:00 am – 11:30 am at St. Chrstopher (Burlington) & Queen of Heaven (Milton)

EFFECTIVE DATE: Immediately for our Supply List

END DATE: June 12, 2027

HOURS: Fridays from 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am – 11:30 am

RATE OF PAY: $18.43 to $37.38

Position Overview

- Prepare and deliver language lessons for in-class as needed
- Organization and maintenance of the classroom in school, including maintaining daily log of activities, lessons and student attendance
- Supervision of students during the 2.5 hrs in a classroom
- Instruct students at various levels of linguistic competence
- Adhering to and working within parameters of Board Policies and Procedures

Qualifications





- Certified Teachers with qualifications in a second language are preferred
- Must exhibit competency in the International Language of instruction and have a positive working knowledge of English
- Demonstrated successful classroom teaching experience, preferably with elementary students
- Strong interpersonal skills when dealing with a variety of learners
- High energy – an excitement for teaching
- Strong organizational skills and excellent interpersonal skills

- Criminal Reference Check including the Vulnerable Sector Screening dated within six months
- Copies of certificates, diplomas, designations and/or undergraduate degrees
- Two letters of professional reference, dated within the year
