Become an Inclusion Camp Coordinator with the Town of Oakville this summer. This part-time role involves leadership, training, and oversight of staff, focusing on supporting campers with exceptionalities.
As a summer student, you’ll report to the Recreation Supervisor, assisting in the administration, delivery, and evaluation of the Summer Camp Inclusion Programs. You will guide Senior Leaders and Inclusion Support Workers in ensuring that all campers receive the support they need, while promoting the principles of healthy child development and maintaining safety protocols at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and supervise program activities and schedules
• Train and evaluate camp staff and volunteers




• Facilitate inclusion support for participants
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
• Document incidents and supervise behavior management
Requirements:
• Current status as a full time student
• Valid Intermediate First Aid and CPR C certification
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
• Availability during July and August 2027
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques
