Esthetician / Wax Specialist – NKD Wax & Laser – Pickering, ON, CA

NKD Wax & Laser is looking for a skilled, professional, and client-focused Esthetician / Waxing Specialist to join our growing team in Pickering. We are a busy, established beauty studio specializing in professional waxing, sugaring, threading, facials, brows, and laser hair removal. We take pride in providing a clean, welcoming, inclusive environment where every client feels comfortable and cared for.

The Ideal Candidate

- Has professional experience in waxing and esthetics
- Is confident performing waxing services from basic to advanced
- Is comfortable working with both female and male clients
- Has experience with or is willing to perform facials and threading
- Has strong knowledge of proper waxing techniques and skin safety
- Provides excellent client care and has a warm, professional personality
- Is comfortable working independently while being part of a team
- Is reliable, punctual, organized, and takes pride in their work
- Maintains excellent hygiene and follows sanitation standards
- Is comfortable recommending appropriate aftercare and retail products
- Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn and grow with the business
- Sugaring experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

- Perform professional waxing services, including Brazilian, bikini, full body and facial waxing
- Perform threading and facial services
- Provide professional consultations and assess client needs
- Follow proper sanitation, hygiene, and safety procedures




- Educate clients on pre- and post-service care
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area
- Provide a welcoming and professional client experience
- Assist with retail recommendations when appropriate
- Work as part of a professional and supportive salon team

Experience Required

- Esthetics experience
- Professional waxing experience
- Preferred: 1+ year of hands-on waxing experience
- Brazilian/body waxing experience
- Facial and threading experience
- Sugaring experience

Job Details

- Schedule Part-time or full-time opportunities available.
- Current scheduling needs include Wednesday-Friday, approximately 10:00 AM-7:00 PM, with potential for additional hours based on availability and business needs.
- We are looking for someone who can commit to a consistent schedule and become a reliable part of our team.
