Vertex is accepting applications for a Junior Recruiter to join our HR team at our Sherwood Park office. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to begin a career in recruitment and learn the full recruitment cycle. You’ll work alongside a collaborative team of HR professionals who are happy to train, share their knowledge, and help you build your skills.

The day-to-day work follows a consistent recruitment process: reaching out to candidates, following up, conducting screens, and recording clear, accurate notes. Most candidate outreach and conversations happen by phone, often with people you haven’t spoken with before. You’ll need to feel comfortable initiating calls, speaking confidently with current people, and picking up the phone throughout the day.

Depending on the role and stage of the process, you may also meet candidates through Microsoft Teams or in person. While the core work is consistent, the positions you recruit for will vary across Vertex.
