The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising daily ground transportation operations, including dispatching, workforce management, operational analysis, and planning activities, while working closely with other members of the management team.



Reporting to theOperations Manager, the Unit Manager is responsible for:Managing daily operations related to sorting, delivery, and pickup activities; Supervising a teamof unionized employees (typically between 30 and 40 employees); Achieving the objectivesoutlined in the operational performance dashboard; Managing employee performance according to operational standards and key performance indicators; Communicating and enforcing company policies, procedures, programs, and collective agreement provisions; Recruiting new employees, coordinating training, and evaluating performance; Compiling and submittingreports on the daily operational activities of the unit; Performing other relatedand assigned duties as required.QualificationsCollege diploma (DEC) or equivalentMinimum of 2 years of operations experience in the transportation and logistics industry, with a solid understanding of industry methods, policies,
