Project Manager – ICI ConstructionLocation: Barrie, OntarioSalary: $120,000–$150,000 per year, depending on experienceEmployment Type: Full time, PermanentAbout The OpportunityAn established Ontario general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its team in Barrie. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing ICI construction projects from preconstruction and planning through execution, closeout and turnover. This position will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, site teams and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget.ResponsibilitiesManage construction projects from award through completion and closeoutDevelop and maintain project budgets, schedules and procurement plansCoordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and project teamsReview drawings, specifications and contract documentationManage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings and change ordersMonitor project costs, commitments, forecasts and overall financial performancePrepare and review progress billings and subcontractor paymentsLead project meetings and maintain communication with clients,



consultants and tradesCoordinate project procurement and subcontractor awardsIdentify and resolve project risks, scheduling issues and cost concernsWork closely with site supervision to support project executionMaintain accurate project documentation and reportingManage project closeout, commissioning and turnover requirementsQualifications5+ years of construction project management experiencePrevious experience working with a general contractorStrong background in ICI, institutional, commercial or similar construction projectsExperience managing project budgets, schedules, change orders and subcontractorsStrong understanding of construction drawings, specifications and contractsExcellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesConstruction Management, Engineering, Architectural Technology or related education is considered an assetMust be able to work full-time from the Barrie officeCompensation$120,000–$150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, along with a competitive overall compensation package.All applications will be handled confidentially.#J-18808-Ljbffr
