Founded in 2023, 2K Sports Lab is the newest stand alone studio at 2K looking to push game development boundaries to bring 2K's next groundbreaking sports franchise to life. We're seeking passionate and driven professionals across all areas of game development to help shape this ambitious vision.

We’re searching for a Lead UI Artist to define and drive the creative vision for our game’s user interface. You’ll craft the look and feel of the graphic design, ensuring it improves the player experience and aligns seamlessly with the game’s overall design. Collaborating with the Art Director, Designers, and Engineers, you’ll craft visually compelling and functional interfaces that stand out.

Establish and maintain a distinct UI art style that complements the game’s vision. Design high-quality visuals, from early concepts to polished assets, ensuring consistency throughout. Work with UX Designers and Engineers to integrate UI smoothly into gameplay.

Implement designs in Unreal Engine or comparable game engines, addressing technical challenges alongside Engineers. Create motion graphics, animations, and videos to support UI concepts and in-game elements. Introduce fresh ideas and stay ahead of modern design trends to elevate the UI.

Lead projects with independence while ensuring alignment with production and product goals. Demonstrated leadership and having shipped UI for a AAA game. Expert knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator,



with a portfolio that showcases outstanding UI design.

Skilled in After Effects and Premiere for crafting animated and video-based UI assets. Collaboration skills across art, design, and engineering teams. A deep passion for gaming and the ability to craft UI that improves the player experience.

The pay range for this position in British Columbia at the start of employment is expected to be between CAD $119,300 and CAD $176,540 per year. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program.
