In this role you will be supporting the structural engineering team by creating AutoCAD drawings and models for the design and construction of water slide projects. You will work closely with Structural Engineers and Engineering Coordinators, to deliver high quality and precise outputs.Please note this is an in-office position, located at our head office in Ottawa, ON, address: 2650 Queensview Dr. Unit #150, Ottawa, ON K2B 8H6.Number of vacancies: 1YOUR CHALLENGE:Supporting the Structural Engineers and Engineering Coordinators with creation of AutoCAD based project drawings for permit and manufacturing of steel structures.Assist engineering team with peer reviews and shop drawing reviews.Assist in the maintenance and customization of project specific structural detailsAssist in the review of project documentationPrepare a wide range of permit drawings and shop drawings for steel structures in the waterpark industryAssist in the development and creation of standard documents and templatesCreate 3D models in AutoCAD, and also Advance Steel for various steel structures and partsWHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:Bachelor's Degree or Technologist Diploma in Engineering or Applied Science (Mechanical, Civil, Structural)2-3 years experience in AutoCAD, experience in 3-dimensional design an assetPast work experience (professional or co-op) in the construction industry,
