Earthbound Stables is looking for a skilled Reliable Handto lead and work alongside barn and riding lesson staff providing quality care for 28 horses and various other livestock.

This is a working leadership role for an individual who enjoys the physical work required on a farm, while at the same time responding to challenges that can come up when tending to livestock and in working in the outdoor environment.

The successful candidate would be expected to follow and mentor junior staff with respect to barn routines, best practices and customer service.

What You’ll Do

- Lead and work with barn staff to ensure horses/livestock receive quality care
- Follow an established feeding program
- Provide turn-out and clean stabling ie. mucking up to 9 stalls
- Solve practical issues such frozen water,



livestock injury, minor barn repairs
- Work safely in all weather
- Operate equipment such as skid-steer, gator and or farm tractor (training provided)

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has experience in working on a farm, preferably a horse farm/riding stable
- Is comfortable working outdoors and in physically demanding environments
- Is mechanically inclined and comfortable with hand tools
- Takes ownership of their work and shows up consistently
- Communicates clearly and works well in a team
- Can coach and set an example for junior members on the team
