MTech Ltd. is a Toronto-based Tier 2 precision CNC machining company with over 15 years in business. We machine parts for automotive, aerospace, hydro, nuclear, medical and door automation customers. Our shop also does fabrication, spray painting, anodizing, tumbling, 3D printing and prototyping in-house. We are ISO 9001:2015 certified and registered under the Controlled Goods Program.
We’re hiring at two levels. If you have no machining experience, we’ll train you. If you’re an experienced machinist, we want you too.
General Labour / Entry-Level Operator
What you’ll do
- Load and unload parts on CNC lathes and mills
- Deburr, clean, tumble and package finished parts
- Check parts with basic gauges (calipers, go/no-go) under QC guidance
- Move material and parts around the shop, including forklift work if you’re certified
- Keep your work area clean and follow safety procedures
- Record production counts and report problems to your lead
What you need:
- Reliability and good attendance
- Attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Ability to stand for a full shift and lift and move parts and material
Shifts and Pay
- We run 24/7 with morning, afternoon and night shifts
- Starting pay: $19.50/hr
Assets for both tracks
- Forklift certification
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- A team player who takes initiative to solve problems
