Job SummaryTYLin is a globally recognized, full‑service infrastructure consulting firm. We are seeking an Intern/Co‑Op student to join our City Solutions Team in North Toronto for the Fall of 2026. The role offers hands‑on experience on municipal infrastructure projects such as roads, sewers, water mains and other land development work.ResponsibilitiesAssist with the preparation of proposals and project schedules.Assist with feasibility studies, functional plans, and preliminary/detailed designs for private and municipal infrastructure.Prepare full sets of civil engineering drawings, including grading, servicing, plans and profiles, erosion & sedimentation control plans, and others.Assist in the preparation of contract specifications and tender packages, including quantity take‑offs and cost estimates.Assist in applying for and obtaining necessary permits and approvals to proceed with construction.Assist with and provide regular progress status reports as required.QualificationsExceptional organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.Excellent written and verbal communication skills,



capable of producing clear documentation and interacting professionally with clients and colleagues.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively in a team environment.Strong commitment to integrity, ethical and responsible behavior.Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and driving improvements.Education & ExperienceCurrently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.Familiarity with Civil3D, MicroStation, and ArcGIS.Knowledgeable with AutoCAD.Compensation and BenefitsBase compensation range: $20 to $30 per hour.
