The primary role of the Maintenance Worker is to provide mechanical support services for the maintenance reliability department.

Perform all duties safely, display safety leadership, cultivate a zero-incident safety culture, and comply with all government and corporate safety requirements. Work with department managers, supervisors, contractors, and hourly employees Responsible for doing predictive and preventive maintenance checks as required by maintenance program.

Responsible for recording labour and materials used on work orders completed and keeping accurate records. Work with peers at other Bunge sites, safety resources, technical staff, and other support personnel. Interact with service providers such as vendors, government regulators and inspectors, contractors, and consultants.

Required qualification includes at least 3 years of referenceable industrial mechanical maintenance experience in process, food or chemical environment on equipment that we use at Harrowby, such as conveyors, pumps and fans. Technical school or vocational training or courses. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are essential as well as strong mathematical, analytical and mechanical aptitude.

Must be willing and able to work on call outs as required during off-hours, weekends,



holidays and must have the acquired skills and knowledge to work alone and/or as part of a team carry out maintenance tasks encountered at the Harrowby plant and perform required repairs under tight time constraints. Able to operate mobile equipment such as skid steers loaders and forklifts. Demonstrated interest to participate in troubleshooting and maintenance, pro-active ability to reduce downtime, grasp overall plant and equipment systems quickly and show creative mechanical thinking.
