Manufacturing Engineer – Advanced Manufacturing

Chatham-Kent, ON | Full-Time | On-Site

We are hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to support a high-volume Tier 1 automotive manufacturing environment. This role will focus on process development, automation, equipment optimization, continuous improvement, and current product launches.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes
- Improve production workflows, tooling, fixtures, and workstations
- Support automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing technologies
- Lead Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives and improve OEE
- Support APQP, PFMEA, PPAP, and new product launches
- Coordinate equipment procurement, installation, commissioning, and validation
- Reduce scrap, rework, downtime, and cycle time
- Work with production teams,



suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing, preferably Tier 1 automotive
- Strong knowledge of one or more: automation, robotics, welding, stamping, machining, or injection molding
- Experience with Lean/CI, APQP, PFMEA, and PPAP
- Knowledge of CAD, ERP/MES, data analysis, and automation/controls systems
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
- Engineering degree or related technical diploma with significant experience
