Under the direction of the Clinic Operations Manager, the Registered Practical Nurse (Concierge Medicine) will be responsible for providing high quality care services for the Executive Health program. As a Registered Practical Nurse you will be providing nursing support directly to clients and alongside the interdisciplinary team to help coordinate and manage their care. The successful candidate will primarily interact with patients through computer and telephone contact. The hours of work are 8:00 am-4:00 pm Monday to Friday.



This job is perfect for someone who values work-life balance.What You'll DoTriaging clients who have primary care concerns and recognizing red flags that require urgent care while properly taking a history and communicating that to Medical Director and Clinic Operations Manager for reviewInteracting with patients on the phone and communicating resultsFulfilling administrative tasks such as making appointments, faxing, reviewing lab results, discussing diagnostic results with clients and EMRProficient in processing referrals and keeping track of referralsAct as a clinical resource to staff and be willing to train new staff as appropriatePotential to do blood drawing and administer vaccines in Executive Health clinicThorough understanding of medical directives, guidelines, policies and procedures to provide the highest quality of care to clientsDiligently participate in the company's training to ensure up to date knowledge of medicine and vaccinationEnsure transparent and accountable documentation practices following accepted Company and CNO standardsProvide individualized risk assessment and risk management information, as it relates to general healthOrder medical and health related supplies and restock handouts (photocopies, requisitions etc.)Act as the clinical resource for staff and clients during critical clinical situationsFollow-up with the physician, the patient and Team Manager where appropriateQualificationsWhat you bring:Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) certification with current license in good standing with the College of Nurses of OntarioFirst Aid/BLS CPR certified and up to dateAbility to follow Medical Directives in order to safely administer vaccines to comply with the College of Nurses of Ontario and the Company Health Group standard of careExcellent skills in paying attention to detailDemonstrated professionalism and ability to communicate effectively with corporate clientsWork well under pressure and can demonstrate a sense of urgency in completing time sensitive tasksAble to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative and good judgementOutstanding customer service skillsExperience in case management would be an asset#INDTH
