As a Senior Accountant , you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting for both our corporate and project entities. Working hands-on with our Controller and a dynamic finance team, you will: Prepare complex reconciliations; Maintain general ledger integrity, including journal entries and supporting documentation Support internal and external audits, preparing robust schedules and documentation Assist with tax filings and compliance under the direction of finance leadership Support budgeting and forecasting through data gathering, review, and variance analysis Partner with project teams for accurate cost tracking and reporting Identify and recommend improvements related to accounting controls and processes Drive ongoing enhancements in finance operations and cross-functional collaboration Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field ~ CPA designation (or in progress) preferred ~4-6 years’ progressive accounting experience; real estate/construction experience a strong asset ~ Solid understanding of internal controls, tax, and compliance ~ Skilled in variance analysis and communicating financial results ~ Proficient in accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, TimberScan, ERP systems)
