You can quickly get to the heart of complex topics, translate technical concepts into clear business insights, and assess actuarial matters within a broader risk, governance and business context.We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:7+ years of experience in P&C; insurance and/or reinsurance, with significant actuarial experienceStrong knowledge of P&C; actuarial methodologies, particularly pricing, reserving and/or quantitative risk managementActuarial credentials or substantial progress toward qualification preferredUnderstanding of risks and trends affecting the P&C; (re)insurance industryExcellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across business functionsAbility to assess actuarial topics within a broader risk management, governance, and business contextExperience leading complex projects or workstreams and collaborating across functionsAdditional nice-to-have qualifications:Knowledge of IFRS 17 and/or US GAAP governance, processes, and controlsExperience in internal audit, risk management, or control functions preferredKnowledge of regulatory frameworks applicable to (re)insurance companiesExperience with data analytics tools and techniquesPeople leadership and team coaching experienceThe base salary hiring range for this existing position located in Toronto is CAD $131,000 to $175,000.
