You'll help with shipping and receiving. You'll operate forklifts and overhead cranes. You'll move material, keep things organized, support your teammates, and step in where needed to keep work moving.We're looking for a versatile, dependable and hands-on team member who takes pride in doing things well.Bridge Machine specializes in machining, hydraulic cylinder repair, manufacturing and rebuild services for demanding industrial applications.We're also proud to be part of the Boundary group of companies - a Canadian group of specialized industrial businesses supporting the mining, heavy equipment, manufacturing and resource sectors across Canada and around the world.What You'll DoYour primary responsibility will be the preparation and final finishing of completed components before they leave our facility.You'll also provide hands-on support throughout the shop wherever you're needed.Your responsibilities will include:Preparing completed components for final finishing and shipmentCleaning, masking and properly preparing surfaces for paintApplying industrial coatings and paint to finished componentsEnsuring consistent,



clean and professional finishesCarefully inspecting finished work and identifying anything that needs attention before shipmentTouching up and correcting finishes when requiredPreparing and packaging completed parts for shipmentLoading and unloading incoming and outgoing materialsReceiving materials and verifying shipmentsSupporting shipping and receiving documentationOperating forklifts and overhead cranes to safely move materials and componentsAssisting with general material handling throughout the shopKeeping work areas clean, organized and safePerforming general shop support duties as requiredSupporting machinists, welders and other team members when an extra set of hands is neededTaking on other tasks that help keep the shop organized and production movingWhat You BringExperience matters, but for this position, the person matters just as much.We're looking for someone who brings:Previous experience in a manufacturing, industrial, automotive, equipment, paint, body shop or similar hands-on environmentIndustrial painting or coating experience is a robust assetExcellent attention to detail and pride in finished workExperience with shipping/receiving or material handling is an assetForklift experience and certification is an assetOverhead crane experience is an assetAbility to safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.Comfort working in a physically active shop environmentBasic ability to complete shipping, receiving and shop documentationA strong commitment to workplace safetyTraining can be provided for some of the technical requirements for the right person.Who We're Really Looking ForThis is where the fit matters.You're Someone Who Notices Things Other People MissIf a finished part has a run in the paint, an area wasn't properly covered, or something doesn't look right before it gets shipped,
