Construction of the six-storey, Centennial Patient Care Tower was completed in May 2012. It includes an expanded emergency department and ambulatory care department, five new operating rooms, a rooftop helipad, an expanded adult inpatient psychiatric unit, and extra space for more patient beds in the future. Kelowna General Hospital is the site of the brand new clinical academic campus for the University of BC Medical School.Unit 3MU (Medical Unit) is a recent, 18-bed Medical Overflow unitUnit 4A is a 32-bed Medical Renal unitUnit 4B is a 32-bed combined Respirology/Oncology unitUnit 4 East is a 32-bed Geriatric Medical unitUnit 5B is a 24 bed Medical/GI UnitUnit 6 West is a 34-bed Stroke/Clinical Teaching UnitThe Rehab unit includes 38 Rehab beds
