About us. Dr. Luna Mangat, Optometric Corporation has provided eye care services for the Surrey Delta community for over 20 years. We are a busy practice looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in the optical field. They will be skilled, reliable and be able to multitask.

We are looking for an Optical or Optometric Assistant. The successful candidate will be able to provide excellent customer service. They will have a passion for helping people and excellent communication skills. Ability to speak Punjabi or Hindi is an asset.

Responsibilities include the following

- Handle administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, answering telephone, recalling patients and filing records
- Provide customer service to patients by answering questions and providing information about products and services
- Assist patients with selecting frames and lenses
- Perform basic eyeglass repairs and adjustments
- Fit lenses into frames




- Assist optometrist in providing patient care
- Maintain the cleanliness of the office and equipment.
- Meet with suppliers for purchasing eyewear

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.5 – 37.5 per week
