Role Description

This is an on-site role for an Optometrist located in Campbellton, NB. You would be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing vision problems and eye diseases, prescribing corrective lenses, and providing pre and post-operative care. The role also includes educating patients on proper eye care and maintaining accurate patient records.



This is a flex-time position with opportunities to collaborate with other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school
- Licensure to practice optometry in the province of New Brunswick
- Solid diagnostic skills and ability to manage a variety of eye conditions and diseases
- Excellent patient management and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
- Proficiency in using digital optometric instruments and equipment
- Experience in providing post-surgical care and managing referrals
