We are searching for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and committedFrench BilingualCollection Officer with 5 or more years of experience in the industry.In this role, you will manage commercial collections, contact customers with past-due accounts, negotiate payment arrangements, and help reduce outstanding balances while delivering strong customer service. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, resilient, skilled on the phone, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play an important role in supporting account resolution, reducing risk, and helping the business achieve its collections goals.We are recruiting for a full-time representative within the Greater Toronto Area to work the schedule Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.ResponsibilitiesProvide excellent service and ensure exceptional execution results in the collection of financial loansConduct collections calls for all past due accountsContact past due customers by phone, request payment & negotiate appropriate payment arrangements,



within authorized limits; Send correspondence to delinquent/collection customersUse defined procedures to arrange and coordinate firm payment arrangements within established risk policy for our collection customers; Assess and mitigate risk by referring accounts for further actionDocument call activity details in Collections system to reflect action taken; Update customer accountinformation with e.G. commitments to pay, amounts & dates, collection call updatesApply tact, diplomacy & resourcefulness; Handle objections& excuses, apply soft calling techniques, where appropriate, to effectively manage & control situationsPerform to regulatory standards and best practice on collectionsAchieve individual collection targets, in order to meet Department and Company goals; Maintain and submit reports for review by collection managementComplete other collection responsibilities, as assignedExperience/QualificationsBilingual in French and English, with strong verbal and written communication skillsExperience handling commercial collections, payment negotiations, and delinquent accountsStrong customer service and phone communication skillsGood math skills and confidence performing basic calculationsStrong organization, time management, and documentation skillsProficiency with Microsoft Excel and OutlookStrong computer skills and ability to learn internal systems quicklyAbility to adapt and stay effective in a fast-paced environmentA motivated, team-oriented attitude with a desire to grow your careerCompensation:From$20.00/hr - $25.00/hr based on experienceWhy Join Us:Opportunity to join a strong team environmentA role where your performance and professionalism make a direct impactCareer growth potential within a results-driven organizationJoin a winning team today!We are an equal opportunity employer.
