Schedule: Mondays & Tuesdays

Compensation: $26.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience

About the Prospect

South Island Primary Care Society is seeking a friendly, organized, and experienced Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our team at Grow Medical Clinic on a temporary 12-month contract.

Grow Medical Clinic is a busy, collaborative primary care practice providing family medicine and maternity care to patients across Greater Victoria.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced clinical environment, enjoys working with patients and healthcare providers, and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet patients and provide professional, compassionate front‑desk support.
- Manage appointment scheduling, patient registration, and telephone inquiries.
- Support physicians and clinical staff with daily administrative tasks.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and patient information.
- Coordinate referrals, incoming reports, and clinical correspondence.
- Assist with general clinic operations to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional standards.

Qualifications





- Previous experience working as a Medical Office Assistant in a primary care setting preferred.
- Experience with Oscar EMR systems is an asset.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient‑centered care.
- A positive attitude, adaptability, and a willingness to support colleagues.

Days: Monday and Tuesday

Hourly Wage: $26.00–$30.00, depending on qualifications and experience
