Contract Pedestrian Data Collector Shifts and Hours Contract Pedestrian Data Collector must be available to work Monday to Friday between 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM daily. Contract takes place in September/October 2026. The purpose of the Pedestrian Data Collector is to precisely gather and document pedestrian data at designated intersections, offering essential insights for the Ottawa Safety Council (OSC) and the City of Ottawa.

Collaboration and empowerment through community engagement High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in data collection, field research,



or a related field is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record data.

Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Basic computer skills and familiarity with data entry software or applications such as electronic counting devices is a plus.
