Automotive Service Technician — Porsche Centre Saskatchewan

Porsche Centre Saskatchewan is looking for a Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is a certified technician with strong diagnostic and repair skills, a commitment to quality workmanship, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

- Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
- Inspect engines while in operation, road‑test vehicles, and test automotive systems and components.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and determine the appropriate repairs.
- Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
- Repair or replace mechanical units and components as required.
- Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and preventative service.
- Complete accurate reports documenting vehicle concerns, diagnoses, and work performed.
- Review work orders and discuss repairs, findings, and recommendations with the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work setting.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high‑quality customer service.

Qualifications & Requirements





- Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician certification is required.
- 3–5 years of automotive service experience preferred.
- Previous automotive dealership experience is an asset.
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and follow manufacturer repair procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- A valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record.
