As a Dishwasher at Chartwell, you’ll be a key part of the Dining Services team, ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly, and our residents enjoy a safe, pleasant dining experience. Your reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork will help us maintain the high standards our residents deserve. What You’ll Do :

- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment by hand or in an industrial dishwasher
- Keep kitchen equipment, floors, and work areas clean and sanitized
- Empty garbage bins and take waste to the proper disposal area
- Keep storage and utility rooms tidy and sanitary
- Help with receiving and storing food supplies as needed What You’ll Bring :
- Secondary school education or equivalent
- Food Handler certification (training provided if needed)
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience, preferably in a retirement residence or hospitality setting




- Teamwork skills and good communication skills to interact with colleagues and residents

- Ability to work in a hot kitchen setting while standing for extended periods
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, bend, push, and pull
- Manual dexterity to handle tools and kitchen equipment safely
- Willingness to wear personal protective equipment and follow all safety procedures
- Clear Criminal Background Check, VSS and TB Test where required
