Our decades of success wouldn’t be possible without our teammates, who are our biggest asset.We require a motivated Land Agent (Contract) to act as our company representative and assist with our continued growth throughout British Columbia.We are currently looking for a Land Agent on a Contractual basis to take on a role with the following accountabilities:Acquisition and Stakeholder EngagementDevelop and maintain rapport with landowners and stakeholdersNegotiate various types of land acquisition agreementsExecute completed acquisition documentsAudit of acquisition documentsCommunicate timely, clearly and concisely, by phone, in person and emailPrepare and compile records of consultation within required timeframesDocument stakeholder concerns and escalte, as necessaryMaintain accurate records such as contact information, dates, and land statusConduct rental reviews and settling damages or addressing concerns as requiredCompany LiaisonAccountable for daily time and accurate reporting to managerAssist other disciplines with any ongoing field workContinuous and effective communication with client inside and outside landMaintain Knowledge and Current LegislationUnderstanding of regulatory consultation and notification requirementsResearch solutions on legislative requirementsCommitment to continuous learning and upkeep on technologies including but notlimited to the use of Artificial Intelligence to enhance productivity, decision making, and efficiencyReview and understand legal agreementsUnderstanding of:applicable directives, acts,
