Reporting to our Pharmacy Manager, the Pharmacy Assistant will be responsible for preparing, filling, dispensing and shipping prescription medications to our patients. If you are looking for the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company, we highly encourage you to apply!In this role, you'll make an impact by:Providing Patient Care & SupportProviding exceptional customer service to patientsAssisting patients across various communication platforms; phone, email, SMSand other internal systemsNavigating insurance challenges with patients and proactively identifying solutionsCreating and maintaining spreadsheets to track and monitor patient recordsSupporting Prescription & Pharmacy OperationsExecuting the end-to-end prescription process; preparing, filling, labeling, dispensing, packaging and shippingVerifying prescription information is complete and accurateEnsuring every request is processed accurately and as per the College of Pharmacy regulationsMaintaining an efficient, protected and tidy dispensaryPerforming key administrative duties; managing a high volume of inbound and outbound calls,



creating and updating patient profiles and maintaining internal pharmacy databasesAssisting with inventory management; performing inventory audits, managing packaging and pharmacy supplies, and coordinating medication orders with the PharmacistCollaborating with the affirming Care team and telehealth partnersWe need someone who has:2+ years of pharmacy experienceKnowledge and efficiency of all aspects of pharmacy software (data entry, billing, report generating, troubleshooting)A positive attitude, a solid sense of urgency and a team player mentalityExperience performing a variety of tasks daily in a quick-paced work environmentThe ability to set priorities, manage time effectively, and is detail orientedActive listening and strong communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to work different shifts including evenings and weekendsIt would also be outstanding if you have:Knowledge of provincial/federal benefits programsKnowledge and experience working with patient support programsThe ability to communicate with patients in Spanish, Portuguese, or Mandarin, both written and verballyCompensation:$50,000 - $56,000 CAD/year (equivalent to $24.04 - 26.92 per hour)The compensation listed above refers to a yearly base salary that may vary depending on a candidate's relevant qualifications, knowledge, competencies and work experience, and other factors including market conditions.
