SUPERVISOR - ProductionGODERICH MANUFACTURING PLANT - NEWJob SummaryThe Production Supervisor ensures work is completed according to schedule, standards are followed, employees are trained and supported, and production issues are resolved in real time. The role acts as a key link between production employees, Lead Hands, Production Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Management to achieve operational objectives.The job description is a summary of the job duties and responsibilities. Employees must be able to perform the essential job duties and satisfy job requirements either with or without reasonable accommodation.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDaily Production Execution (Primary Function)Lead and coordinate daily shop floor activities including:Cutting, drilling, formingWelding and assemblyFinishing and material handlingExecute production plans provided by Production PlanningCoordinate work assignments through Lead Hands and production employeesAssign work based on skill level, workload, delivery commitmentsMonitor progress throughout the shift and adjust resources as requiredEnsure work is completed: safely, on time, to specification and at expected productivity levelsSupport achievement of daily, weekly and monthly production targetsHands-On Floor LeadershipMaintain a visible and active presence on the production floorProvide frontline leadership and support to Lead Hands and operatorsWork alongside employees when operational demands require supportAssist with critical operations and production bottlenecks as requiredServe as the primary point of escalation for: production issues, equipment concerns, quality concerns, safety issues, employee issueFoster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environmentTeam Leadership, Training & Performance ManagementLead, coach, mentor, and develop production employeesSupport recruitment, onboarding,
