The Okta Identity Governance Team is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to ensure high quality across features in the scrum team. You will review requirements, write test plans, and implement automation across several layers in our systems. Your role is crucial as we support large-scale enterprise systems with millions of identities, ensuring accuracy in security and compliance.
Key Responsibilities: • Review requirements and design specifications for test planning • Automate testing at all levels,
including API and UI • Build performance tests for high-volume operations • Maintain data integrity across systems and validate audit reports • Troubleshoot complex inter-service issues and improve processes
Requirements: • 5+ years in software engineering in test or quality engineering • Proficiency in Java; Python or TypeScript is a plus • Hands-on experience with API and UI test automation • Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter • Experience in multi-tenant system testing and CI/CD processes
