Personal Injury Associate Lawyer Location: Ottawa, ON Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 Position Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Opportunity A well-established Ottawa law firm is seeking a Personal Injury Associate to join its team. This is an opportunity for a lawyer looking to grow their practice in a supportive environment while working directly with clients on personal injury matters. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of personal injury files from intake through resolution. Conduct legal research, prepare pleadings, and draft legal correspondence and documentation. Handle negotiations with opposing counsel, insurers, and other parties. Prepare for discoveries, mediations, pre-trial conferences, and trials as required. Advise clients on their legal rights, options, and the progress of their claims.



Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to ensure files are managed efficiently. Qualifications Member in valuable standing with the Law Society of Ontario. Experience handling personal injury matters, ideally within a plaintiff-side practice. Strong legal research, drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills. Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities. Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
