Your role will involve overseeing the construction crew ensuring project timelines are met and maintaining quality standards throughout the process. Many projects involve ICF and concrete related elements and experience as a Civil Technician is a significant asset.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage and lead construction crew, providing regular and consistent feedbackEnsure effective and efficient use of personnel, materials, equipment, facilities, and timeIdentify training gaps and ensure training is provided to the team before tasks are delegatedMonitor equipment for maintenance requirements and ensure operators perform daily checksCoordinate and manage site activitiesAdministration activities including timekeeping, labour and equipment coding, safety reporting,



etc.Perform quantity takeoffs for concrete and rebarEnsure all work is completed to high standards and concrete quality standards are maintainedEnsure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the taskEnsure safety of fellow employeesRequired Skills & Experience5 years' experience working in constructionHigh attention to detail in completing work tasksMust be well versed in construction site protocols, rules, and code of conductStrong management, delegation, planning and leadership skillsAbility to read plans and specifications, and understand basic contractual requirementsConcrete/ICF experience is a requirementAbility to estimate concrete and rebar quantitiesComply with all safety policies and proceduresAbility to deal with people tactfully, diplomatically, and professionallyIf you are a motivated individual with a passion for construction and possess the required skills, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
