PositionPest Control Technician – Route Based, Kingston, ONResponsibilitiesInspect the interior and exterior of properties on a recurring schedule to identify infestation sources, extent of damage, and access to infested locations.Prepare and apply products on infested areas using mechanical or electric sprayers, and set traps according to regulatory guidelines.Offer recommendations to clients on preventing pest infestations.Operate company truck and maintain service equipment.Build customer relationships through friendly, helpful, and courteous behavior during service visits.Identify and engage customers for additional service offerings that add value.Study preliminary reports of infested areas and determine the treatment type required to eliminate and prevent recurrence of infestation.Ensure all work is documented and submitted electronically after each visit.Perform other duties as required.Qualifications & RequirementsValid full driver’s licence and ability to pass an MVR check.High school diploma or equivalent.1 to 2 years of customer‑facing and/or route‑based experience.Must pass a pre‑employment background screen.Willing to obtain and maintain Structural Exterminator licensing within the province with manager assistance.Available to work Monday to Friday with some weekends or on‑call shifts when needed.Ability to work independently throughout daily tasks after training.Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service and time‑management skills.Attention to detail.Even if you do not meet 100% of the requirements, we still welcome your application.Compensation & BenefitsFull‑time position.Salary Range: $42,000 – $45,000 annually.Number of Vacancies: 1.Company vehicle provided.Company cell phone.Production bonuses and commissions after probationary period.Uniforms provided.Company pays 100% of the cost of steel toes.Company‑paid holidays, vacation and sick time.Health perks including medical, dental, vision and life insurance.Employee Assistance Program offering counseling and other services.Colleague Resources Group for various groups including women, veterans and young professionals.Retirement savings plan with a 3.5% company match.Employee discounts.Tuition reimbursement benefits and scholarship programs.AI technology may be used in selecting candidates for interviews.Equal Opportunity EmployerRentokil Terminix is an equal chance employer.
