Job OverviewWe are hiring a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT) for a Sobeys pharmacy located at 4809 Fort Frances Safeway Pharmacy, Fort Frances, Ontario. The role requires a license from the provincial college of pharmacy and the ability to perform independent pharmacy duties under indirect supervision.ResponsibilitiesPrepare, process, and compound prescriptions, including receiving and transcribing verbal prescriptions (excluding verbal narcotic prescriptions and benzodiazepines).Ensure prescriptions are complete and authentic.Transfer prescriptions to and receive prescriptions from other pharmacies.Ensure accuracy of prepared prescriptions and perform final checks.Maintain accurate drug and personal health information in patient records.Restricted activities can only be performed if a pharmacist has assessed the prescription, patient, health history and medication record and has determined the therapy is appropriate.
