This position will provide crisis intervention and support services to individuals experiencing mental health, emotional,



or situational crises within our communities.This is a rewarding prospect to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people when they need support most.Position SummaryThe Crisis Intervention Worker provides immediate assessment, intervention, support, referral, and follow-up services to individuals experiencing mental health or psychosocial crises. Working collaboratively with community partners, healthcare providers, emergency services, and internal programs, the Crisis Intervention Worker assists clients in identifying strengths, developing safety plans, and connecting with appropriate resources.The Crisis Intervention Worker will be based in Elliot Lake and provide crisis intervention services to individuals and families across East Algoma.
