- A multi-physician practice located in Hamilton is looking for a Registered Nurse or RPN. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication and collaboration skills. Position will be 5 days per week. Recent grads welcome. 6 month contract. $27-$38/hr depending on experience
- Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions
- Provide medical advice and triaging over the phone for patients
- Provide assistance to the physician as needed
- Provide Prenatal care
- Well women exam/care
- Well baby well child assessments (Rourke/WHO guidelines)
- Wound care/suture and staple removal
- Administration of injections (immunizations, hormones, allergy, B12 etc.)
- Current preventative health guidelines (flu shots, mammograms, pap smears, colon cancer screening)
- Develop and maintain respectful, cooperative working relationships to contribute to the integrated, seamless delivery of services.
- Work as a team member in a multi-disciplinary setting.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, communication,
problem solving, and leadership skills
- Experience with electronic documentation preferred
