Business Architect, Level 3 – Product Owner & Business Transformation Lead Department: Transport Canada (TC)Employment Type: Contract / TempLocation: CanadaDescription About the role Orangutech is looking for a senior Product Owner and Business Transformation Lead to support a federal marine safety modernization initiative.You'll own the product for a current mobile inspection application built on Microsoft Power Platform. It lets marine safety inspectors across Canada capture inspection notes, deficiencies, photos and service requests in the field, and it integrates with existing enterprise case-management systems. You'll work directly with Power Platform developers, inspectors and program leadership, and run the backlog in Azure Dev Ops. You'll also coach an internal subject matter expert to take on the product management role.In the second half of the engagement, the focus moves to business transformation. You'll lead a Lean current-state assessment of Vessel Registry operations and produce a practical future-state improvement roadmap.Key Responsibilities What you’ll do Product ownership (Oct–Dec 2026, ongoing through March 2027)Act as Product Owner for a Power Platform mobile inspection app, owning product vision, roadmap and release prioritiesBuild and manage the backlog in Azure Dev Ops: epics, features,
