Business Development SpecialistPosition: Full Time, PermanentLocation: Richmond, BCSalary: From $80,000-100,000 per year, plus bonus & car allowanceFresh Start Foods seeks an experienced professional to manage and grow our sales and marketing efforts within the Gordon Food Service broadline business while engaging directly with GFS customers.Duties and ResponsibilitiesStrategic thinking, relentless attitude and commitment to sales activity – maintain current relationships and develop a strategic plan to seek new business that complements the division’s sales team.Identify opportunities for total category growth through analysis and sales insights.Provide support to the Gordon Food Service Produce team.Source & analyze sales trends to provide a demand plan (forecast) that will effectively reduce shorts and improve overall service levels.Collaboratively work with internal departments, especially Product Development & Operations.Respectfully represent the best interests of Fresh Start Foods in all internal and external dealings.Exhibit professionalism with clients and enforce Climate Goals.Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of satisfaction.Manage the financial performance of customers to meet the needs of Fresh Start Foods.Required Skills and QualificationsProven Sales Leadership – passion in your message, impeccable follow‑up skills and textbook accurate sales processes.Strong sales experience in the food and beverage/food service industry.Outstanding presentation style.Post‑secondary diploma or degree in a related discipline preferred, or equivalent business experience.Portfolio of Marketing Leadership,
