We are seeking aSolar Design Studentfor our Solar District, available for 4-16 months starting September 2026.As a Solar Design Student and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:ResponsibilitiesReviews RFP documentation for key design requirementsDesigns, reviews and/or validates solar facility layouts relative to RFP documents using/creating plans, specifications, and other informationPrepares/draws detailed site layouts using electrical single line diagrams using AutoCADSupports estimating with quantity takeoffs and preconstruction efforts (e.G. design coordination, constructability review, project planning)Effectively communicates with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issuesDevelops and maintains strong customer focused relationships with all stakeholdersAssist with developing energy production models to support project feasibility and performance analysisSupport earthwork quantity estimation and assist project teams with material take‑offs, quantity optimization,
and pricing compilation and recapFacilitate communication and collaboration between project stakeholders by supporting RFIs and submittals through PM4+QualificationsCandidates must have a strong desire to work in a design functionStrong analytical and problem‑solving skillsAbility to thrive in a quick‑paced environmentApplication of various computer software programs will be required, including AutoCAD, word processing, and spreadsheet applications (Excel)Next Step: Please note that candidates who have been selected to move forward to the next stage of the recruitment process will receive an email to complete a short online video interview.The estimated salary range for this role is $21.37 - $31.34, based on your experience and qualifications.
