We are seeking a dedicated Mill Helper to support our heavy industrial quarry operation. In this permanent role, you will assist Millwrights with routine maintenance and repair tasks. Candidates should have experience in heavy equipment maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting, ensuring efficient operation within a demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform preventive maintenance on heavy equipment and machinery
• Assist with mechanical maintenance and equipment installation
• Troubleshoot and repair components like gearboxes and conveyors
• Work with quarry machinery such as crushers
• Use hand and power tools for repair tasks
Requirements:
• Experience in mechanical roles or as a Millwright Apprentice
• Solid mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work safely in diverse environments
• Familiarity with welding and fabrication is a plus
• Relevant mechanical experience of 3-5 years preferred
