Superintendent - Water and Wastewater InfrastructureGeorgetown, CanadaGTA | Pump Stations & Treatment Plants | $200 K+ Total Earning PotentialCanterra Group has been engaged to recruit an experienced Superintendent for an established civil infrastructure contractor in the Greater Toronto Area.We're looking for a construction professional who knows how to build pumpstations, water treatment plants and wastewater treatment facilities andcan take ownership of complex projects in the field.This is an opportunity for an experienced Superintendent to join a contractor with a solid infrastructure project pipeline and take a keyleadership role delivering essential municipal infrastructure across the GTA.The OpportunityAs Superintendent, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day fieldleadership and successful execution of water and wastewater infrastructureprojects.Your responsibilities will include:Leading construction activities on pump station and water/wastewater treatment projectsPlanning and coordinating dailysite operationsManaging subcontractors, trades and site personnelCoordinating civil, structural, mechanical and electrical scopesDeveloping short-term schedules and ensuring critical milestones are achieved Working closely with Project Managers, consultants and ownersManaging site logistics, sequencing and constructability issuesMaintaining high standards for safety, quality and productivityIdentifying field issues early and developing practical solutionsSupporting commissioning,



turnover and project closeoutRequirementsWhat We're Looking ForWe're particularly interested in speaking with Superintendents who have direct experience building pump stations or water/wastewater treatment facilities.Relevant experience could include:Municipal pump and pumping stationsSewage treatment facilitiesMajor plant upgrades and expansionsProcess piping and mechanical systemsConcrete tanks and process structuresUnderground utilities and site servicingComplex civil, mechanical and electrical coordinationYou’ll understand that these projects are very different from straightforward road or sewer work.
