giving you the chance to work with a leader in industrial safety serviceResponsibilitiesProvide a quick response to medical emergencies in an industrial settingAssess and attend to patient's injuries; determine a course of treatmentProvide first-aid or support to injured workersEffectively communicate status and next steps of the injured worker to emergency servicesClean and decontaminate vehicles (mobile treatment center) and/or clinic area and maintain areas in a state of operational/medical readinessEnsure all reporting and communication requirements are adhered to regarding incidents, injuries and treatmentMaintain confidential patient medical documentation and reports as per governing body requirementsQualificationsRegistration as a Primary Care Paramedic with the Alberta College of ParamedicsH2S AliveCPR - Health Care Provider (HCP) or Basic Life Support (BLS)Non GDL Class 5 (or equivalent) driver's License; Class 4 if working in BC for forestry workCommon Safety Orientation (CSO)Other RequirementsPhysical demands of the role include lifting up to 50 kilos.Proof of registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics is required.Driver's abstract required showing 4 or less infractions in the last three (3) yearsCandidates must successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
