Who we areGirls Inc. is a non-profit organization with a mission to inspire and empower all girls to be strong, smart and bold. We provide girls 5 to 18 years old with the knowledge and skills needed to break free from gender stereotypes, create social change, be proud of who they are and be confident in their own skin. Girls Inc. delivers life-changing programs with research-based curricula, delivered by trained professionals in a girls-only protected learning environment. We equip girls to achieve academically, lead healthy and physically active lives, manage money, navigate media messages and discover an interest in science, technology, engineering, and math. To implement our programs, we partner closely with local schools and community organizations. Our staff and volunteers care deeply about the general well‑being of our girls, and we are proud to be the leading advocate for girls and young women’s rights and opportunities.General DutiesPlan, lead, implement and evaluate programs targeting girls ages 5-18, including but limited to developing workplan, coordinating with partners, securing logistical requirements, facilitating in-class sessions, conducting surveys and analyzing outcomes.Ensure general safety and confidentiality of participating girlsFacilitate girls’ personal development process through educational‑recreational experiencesKeep track on activity status, particularly registration and expected outcomesConvey messages around Girls’ Inc. philosophy and positive community developmentEnsure timely reporting of activity status and child welfare concernsFacilitate program activities by working closely with volunteers and community membersAssist in monitoring budget flows, indicators and outcomes for effective project managementCommunicate directly with parents, guardians,



Program Director and Executive Director regarding wellbeing of participants where neededActively engage in PR efforts by utilizing social media and other channelsShare strong passion around inspiring all girls to be strong, smart and boldUndertake other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum of 3-year direct group facilitation experience transferrable to duties outlined aboveDemonstrated understanding of gender equality and gender-sensitive programingExpertise and demonstrated experience in Indigenous-informed teaching methods (eg.
