TRACTOR BACKHOE OPERATOR - Water & Sewer ConstructionWCL is looking for an experienced Underground Tractor Backhoe Operator to support our water and sewer crews following earthworks. This role focuses on running a hoe pack on a backhoe and potentially a track hoe, compacting clay around existing utilities as well as helping the wheel loader with aggregate and material organization.What You Need3+ years experience operating tractor backhoes in underground water and sewer or heavy civil construction.Solid ability to work around existing utilities and live services.Comfortable supporting mainline crews with aggregate and material as needed.Strong understanding of trench safety and underground job site practices.Ability to perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.Required TicketsValid Class 5 Driver's License.WHMIS & CSTS 2020 (or willing to obtain).Schedule7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Monday to Friday.8 hour Saturdays (some Saturdays planned off).Some rain days off.Potential for backfill and prep work on some Sundays and long weekends.PerksBenefitsRRSP ProgramBoot AllowanceIf you show up, work clean, and support underground crews safely, you'll fit right in at WCL.We appreciate all applications, but only successful candidates will be contacted.
