Toronto, ON | Hybrid 3 Days Onsite | 90-110k CAD About The Opportunity IntePros is partnering with a high-growth, technology-driven organization within the hospitality and customer experience space to identify a Cloud Data Engineer. This role will support the evolution of modern cloud data infrastructure powering operational analytics, reporting, and AI-driven insights. This is an opportunity to join a product-focused environment where data directly influences business decisions, revenue optimization, and customer engagement strategies. The team is building scalable, high-performance data systems designed to support both analytical and real‑time use cases. What You’ll Do Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL and ELT pipelines using Python and modern orchestration tools Build and optimize data models using DBT for analytics and reporting workloads Develop dimensional and denormalized schemas to support operational and analytical queries Work with structured, semi‑structured, and streaming data sources Write and optimize complex SQL queries across cloud data warehouses Support performance tuning, partitioning,



and optimization for large datasets Collaborate with analytics, product, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into data solutions Implement data validation, monitoring, and quality best practices Participate in code reviews and CI/CD processes What We’re Looking For 5+ years writing complex SQL 3+ years Python experience including Pandas Hands‑on experience with Airflow, Prefect, or similar orchestration tools Strong experience with DBT Experience with Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or other cloud data warehouses Solid understanding of dimensional modeling, OLTP and OLAP design Experience in high-volume, transaction-driven environments is a strong plus This is a hybrid position based in Toronto. Candidates must already be located in the GTA and comfortable working onsite three days per week once the recent downtown office opens. No sponsorship for this role.
