Elevate agricultural success with Federated Co-operatives as a Technical Agronomist. This remote role offers the chance to lead agronomic training and support Co-ops across Alberta. FCL is seeking a permanent full-time Technical Agronomist to join its Ag Solutions team.
In this influential position, you will leverage 6-9 years of agronomy experience to deliver high-quality training and provide expert technical support to local Co-op teams. Your efforts will enhance decision-making and drive market growth in agricultural products. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver agronomic training through various methods
- Partner with managers to align training initiatives
- Provide expertise on crop protection and nutrition
- Support marketing initiatives with accurate agronomic messaging
- Train agronomists in best practices using AgZone FIELD Requirements:
- 6-9 years of relevant experience in agriculture
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture; Master’s preferred
- CCA or PAg designation is advantageous
- Willingness to travel within territory
