Day to day activities include obtaining quotes, placing purchase orders, and following-up with vendors.Key Responsibilities:Manage daily purchasing activity; maintain inventory and job specific needsCreate and issue Purchase OrdersParticipate in supplier sourcing and developmentParticipate and/or facilitate contract negotiationsFollow up with suppliers on pricing, delivery,



terms, and invoicing issues as requiredPerform other related duties as assignedSkills:Strong communication skills, both written and verbalExperience with ERP systems (SAP Business One is preferred), Excel, WordAbility to build and maintain working relationships with co-workers, customers, and vendorsSelf-starter with a developed sense of urgency and diligenceRequirements:Associates degree or equivalent work experience desiredPrior purchasing or planning experienced preferredAble to work in an office setting but also deal with manufacturing personnelCPM Acquisition Corp. is an equal opportunity employer.
