The Shifts

Wednesday 9am-7pm

Saturday 9am-5pm

Responsibilities

- Greet clients warmly upon arrival, ensuring they feel comfortable and appreciated
- Manage appointment scheduling using salon management software, coordinating with stylists and technicians
- Answer phone calls promptly with professional phone etiquette, providing information and booking appointments
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area, ensuring all promotional materials and retail products are well-presented
- Assist with retail merchandising by promoting salon products and upselling where appropriate
- Support daily operations by managing client check-ins/outs, confirming appointments,



and addressing client inquiries efficiently

Requirements

- Excellent communication skills in English;
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service roles is preferred, especially in a beauty or wellness workplace
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, basic math skills, and cash handling procedures
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the day
- Professional phone etiquette and friendly demeanor when interacting with clients over the phone or in person
- Ability to work well within a team while maintaining a positive attitude and high energy levels
- Basic knowledge of merchandising techniques and upselling strategies to enhance client experience
